Aqua Hotels & Resorts has cute boutique hotels all over Hawaii. You can stay at one of their hotels on Oahu, Maui, Kauai, Molakai, or Lanai.

Besides having amazing hotels without the luxury price, they also have an extensive list of complimentary amenities.

What I found really incredible, is that right now they have a “Right Price Right Now” event going on, and you can get your room for $99 or less at participating Waikiki hotels – sometimes as low as $60 per night.

As you know, Hawaii is not an inexpensive place to stay, so I find that deal incredible!

On top of that, on their Special Packages page, they have more offers for all of their hotels, including AAA, an Early Bird Special, and a whole lot more.

I really suggest taking a look at their properties. They look amazing, and I’m sure will help you have an amazing vacation in Hawaii.

I must give you a fair warning though – unless you’re currently planning a trip to Hawaii, I wouldn’t take a look at these hotels! They are so beautiful, and the pictures you’ll see are so amazing, that you’ll want to start planning a trip right away!

Hawaii is not just beaches, see the night sky

Category: Cool Stuff, Hawaii, Travel Planning, United States

On the contrary, my favorite part of Hawaii was when I was in below freezing temperatures. “But isn’t Hawaii always hot?”, you may ask. Along the ocean you won’t need a jacket very often but on the island of Oahu are some of the biggest mountains in the world.

On top of Mauna Kea is a group of international astronomical observatories and telescopes. A guided tour up steep unpaved roads can get you there for an amazing experience. About halfway back down the mountain is where the real fun begins. Set up shop with a couple of powerful telescopes and you can have incredible views of the night sky.

With the naked eye, the view is unobstructed. No streetlights or porchlights to make the night sky blurred. You can literally see hundreds of stars and even the presence of the cloudy vision our own galaxy, Milky Way, itself.

Dress warmly. Even halfway down the mountain it is still very chilly when you are outside for a prolonged period watching the night sky.

We were extremely happy using Mauna Kea Summit Adventures for the tour and highly recommend them.
