Cancun is a party paradise for singles and those traveling alone.  The weather is beautiful year round for fun in the sun and the sea during the day.

There are two ways to do Cancun. One way is to stay at a lower priced hotel and eat at the local restaurants and bars. The other way is to go to a reasonably priced all inclusive resort where you can eat and drink all you want (including alcohol) as part of your package. One great way for singles to enjoy the paradise is at Club Med which has special all inclusive singles groups.

In Cancun, at night there are plenty of bars and clubs to check out like Senor Frog's, Coco Bongo, and Daddyo's.

Away from the partying, be sure to see the Mayan ruins in the area. The Yuccatan was home to a great civilization hundres of years ago and they have left behind incredible pyramids and buildings behind.

Chichen Itza is the most well known site in the area and covers almost 3 square miles. The Pyramid of Kukulcan is in the center and you can take on the challenge of climbing it. The site is home to many temples, palaces, markets and ballcourts.

Tulum is also a popular area of Mayan ruins. These ruins are right on the coast and were used as a fort to defend against invasion. There are many buildings here, some of which have murals on the interior.

Another day trip from Cancun is the eco-archaeological park of Xcaret. here you can relax, swim, snorkel, see lots of flora and fauna and even snorkel through a series of underground caves with some big fish. It is a beautiful area with lots to see and do.
