The Turks & Caicos Islands are located about 575 miles southeast of Miami. There are 8 inhabited islands. These include Salt Cay, Grand Turk, South Caicos, Middle Caicos, North Caicos, Providenciales, Parrot Cay, and Pine Cay. East Caicos, West Caicos, and some other very small islands are currently uninhabited. Most people come to the Turks & Caicos Islands to either snorkel or dive, as it is an amazing destination to do so due to the long coral reefs you will be able to see. For those that love to relax, there are some very beautiful sandy white beaches where you can sit and watch the crystal clear waters. This is a great place for singles, as there are many hotels that a lot of singles go to. On the island of Providenciales, there is the Club Med Turkoise, which is an adult only resort and has many things for adults to do. There is tennis, sailing, windsurfing, a flying trapeze, volleyball, basketball, and a lot more. Also, a lot of singles go to this resort, so there are always a lot of people to talk to. When you go to meals, they will seat you with other people so that you can more easily meet them. Besides the Club Med, a few other resorts that are good for singles are Queen Angel Resort, Sibonne Beach Hotel, and Miramar Resort. No matter where you stay, there are many places to snorkel and dive in order to see beautiful tropical fish. While there are not that many things to see on the island as most do come to either relax on the beach or to go into the water, there are usually many activities going on at different resorts.
