Jamaica is a beautiful Caribbean island, where you can spend your vacation either relaxing, or doing a lot of sightseeing and activities.  It's a great island, and the vacation will be what you make of it.

There are a lot of all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica, which helps make it a very affordable vacation.  The best part is, once you pay for the all-inclusive resort, it really does usually include almost everything.  Your hotel of course is included, but all the food you can eat, and all the drinks that you want (even alcoholic ones) are all included as well.  Most resorts also include many activities as well, so you can relax or do as much as you would like on your island vacation.  There are three major areas that people travel to:  Negril, Montego Bay, and Ocho Rios.  All are beautiful, and have their own things to do.  Jamaica is a great place for singles to travel, as there are many nightclubs and bars where there are usually a lot of people also vacationing.  Even the all-inclusive resorts usually have many bars where people can meet others. 

Ocho Rios:  Ocho Rios has many all-inclusive resorts in the area.  Some of the bigger named resorts include Sandals, Hedonism, Beaches, Breezes, and many more.  While the resorts are beautiful and offer a lot to do, you might consider doing a few other activities as well.

Dunn's River Falls - This is one of the biggest tourist attractions in the area.  After a short hike, you can see beautiful waterfalls, known as the Niagara of Jamaica.  You can also swim in them.  It's a beautiful place to take pictures.

If you'd like to swim with dolphins, you can go to Dolphin Cove, the only place in Jamaica where you can swim with dolphins.  Dolphin Cove is also the home to stingrays, eels, sharks, snakes, macaws, and other unique tropical birds, fish, and reptiles. 

Montego Bay:  This is another area of Jamaica that has a lot of all-inclusive resorts.  Some of them include the Grand Lido, Breezes, SuperClubs, and many others.  If you want to leave the resorts, you can go swimming and snorkeling in the beautiful clear water at Doctor's Cave and Fletcher Beach.  For anyone that loves golf, there are quite a few golf courses where you can spend the day playing golf. 

If you would like to just wander around, go on Gloucester Avenue, where you can walk past hotels, restaurants, shops, street vendors, and more.

Negril:  There are many all-inclusive resorts here as well.  Some of them include Hedonism, Grand Lido, RIU, and many more.  One of the biggest attractions here is Seven Mile Beach, known for how beautiful is and how clear the waters are.

If you would like to leave the resorts, you can visit the Royal Palm Reserve, where you can see a lot of wildlife, such as sea hawks, ospreys, egrets, butterflies, and more.  The Negril Lighthouse offers beautiful views from the top, only 103 stairs up. 

To get a genuine Jamaican experience, consider going to Alfred's Ocean Palace.  It offers a great night on the town, with fresh seafood and nightly shows.  There are also many bars and nightclubs in the area, including Risky Business, Roots Bambo, The Jungle Night Club, and more.
