There is a very good reason that Hawaii is almost always the number one destination people think of when they think of amazing vacations.  It is a beautiful destination, and the islands offer something for everyone. 

There are many exciting things to do in Oahu, and if you are looking for an adventurous vacation where you can meet lots of people, Oahu is a great place to go.

Oahu has beautiful hotels that everyone will enjoy.  The ocean is great for swimming or snorkeling, with beautiful blue waters and amazing tropical fish. Make sure to get away from the resorts and ocean for a little while as there are many places to go biking and hiking for spectacular views of the island forests, waterfalls and mountains. You can get an even more incredible view of Hawaii from above with a short helicopter ride. Once you're done seeing the island be sure to be part of a real traditional Hawaiian Luau.
Oahu is the home to Honolulu and the city nightlife. There are many clubs, restaurants, art galleries and attractions to keep you busy.  If you are looking to meet and spend some time with others, you will not be disappointed, as you will find many people having a good time at the bars and clubs each night.
History buffs can see the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbor honoring the Americans who died in the invasion during World War II.  You can visit the Polynesian Cultural Center, which is a 42-acre theme park where you can learn more about the Hawaiian culture.  Another way to learn more about Hawaii is to visit the Iolani Palace, which was the official residence of King Kalakaua.

For fun in the sun, the beaches are beautiful and you can even take surfing lessons at Waikiki beach.  Another major tourist attraction on Oahu is Diamond Head Crater, which offers some incredible panoramas of the island.  If you walk up to the top, which is easy to do, you will be able to get some amazing photographs.  For the truly adventurous, hikers who don't mind getting up a little early will find a spectacular view at the top of Diamond Head Crater to watch the sunrise. If you're looking for more beautiful things to see, visit Hanauma Bay Marine Preserve.  It has horseshoe-shaped beaches, and clear water, with many tropical fish to see if you want to go snorkeling.  For even more marine and wildlife, The Honolulu Zoo and Waikiki Aquarium offer a nice collection of land and sea life.

Hawaii is famous for its pineapple. Dole plantation offers fun while learning about pineapples at the Pineapple Garden Maze, which is the largest maze in the world.  You can’t leave Hawaii without at least trying some of the pineapple.

As you can see, there is a lot of adventure to be had in Oahu, even when looking for a nice relaxing vacation in Hawaii.
