The island of Ibiza is a great destination for the young and the young at heart. Ibiza is known for its party atmosphere and has plenty of nightlife and clubs for everyone. It is a hedonist's paradise with over 80 beaches and great weather from May to October. There is even a shoreline ferry that will take you from beach to beach. Sites to see:
Cave of Can Marca - A 100,000 year old cave with vibrant color. It was formed by earth faults and dripping still forms stalactites in the cave. The cave was once used by smugglers and there are still paint marks posting the way out in case of emergency.
Museums - Ibiza is home to a Museum of Contemporary Art and a Museum of Archaeology. The archaeological museum was built in 1907 and has historical artifacts from pre-historic times to the Islamic medival period. Ibiza is also home to the Puig Des Molins Necropolis. The graves from Phoenician and Roman times are now a World Heritage Site.
Pirate Towers - These towers were built in the 1700s to be used as lookouts and signals to warn of invasion or sightings of pirate ships. They are beautiful structures and provide beautiful views around the islands.
