Jamaica is a beautiful island, which is why many Caribbean cruises stop here.  The beaches are beautiful, and there are many other things to keep you busy on your day trip.  Ocho Rios has many thing to do, and is one of the reasons that many cruises stop at this port.

Dunn's River Falls - This is one of the biggest tourist attractions in the area.  After a short hike, you can see beautiful waterfalls, known as the Niagara of Jamaica.  You can also swim in them.  It's a beautiful place to take pictures.

If you'd like to swim with dolphins, you can go to Dolphin Cove, the only place in Jamaica where you can swim with dolphins.  Dolphin Cove is also the home to stingrays, eels, sharks, snakes, macaws, and other unique tropical birds, fish, and reptiles. 

You can also spend the day at the beach, soaking up the sun and enjoying the ocean.  A river tubing safari is another way to relax and enjoy the day.  Other fun ways to spend the day include bicycling, or going on a horseback ride. 

No matter which cruise line you go with, you will be able to choose from many different shore excursions, as there is so much to do here.  You can even go off by yourself, and have a great day, relaxing or enjoying the many activities offered.
