Even If you Don’t Want to go on the Ride, Check Out the Queue (Disney World Tips – 180 of 365)

Ride Queues

What should you do if you love the theme of a ride, but don’t want to actually go on the ride?

For example, what if you hate heights (or don’t like the feeling of being dropped), but love The Twilight Zone?

Here’s what you do.

On rides like this, there is usually a cast member in front before you even get in line. Ask them if you can go through the queue but still not go on the ride.

They’ll usually tell you exactly where you need to exit.

So you’ll get to walk through the beginning part of The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, but when everyone else gets on the elevator, you go the opposite direction!

This is great if you want to see the queue, but it’s also great if you want to stay with the rest of your party as long as you can. Then they go on the ride, and you go wait for them.

You’ll still get to see the awesome theme, but won’t be stuck going on the ride!
