Have Reasonable Expectations (Disney World Tips – 91 of 365)

To many people, including myself, Walt Disney World is the most magical place on earth.

But that doesn’t mean that there can’t be meltdowns, crowds, too much heat, etc.

So you need to have reasonable expectations when you go.

It’s great that you (or someone in your party) might want to go on every single ride in the 4 parks, but it most likely isn’t going to happen.

No matter how long you’re at Disney World for, you won’t get a chance to do everything that they have to offer.

It’s just impossible as there is so much to do and see, and there is only so much time. Plus, there are things that are out of your control as well, such as planned ride closures, temporary ride closures, etc.

So what you need to do, is before you leave, have everyone in the party have a short list of “must do’s”.

These are the things that each person absolutely wants to do on the trip, and then these items become a priority to make sure you get them done.

That way, even if you don’t get done everything that you were hoping, you’ll get the must do’s done, so everyone will be satisfied.

If you are realistic and know that you can’t do everything…but will still do a lot and have a lot of fun anyway, your trip will be a lot more relaxing!
