Need a “Break” without Leaving the Magic Kingdom? Try These Attractions… (Disney World Tips – 59 of 365)

Magic Kingdom

There is a lot to see in the Magic Kingdom, and you’ll do a lot of walking if you want to see everything.

Sometimes you’ll get tired, or worn out.

Plus it can get really hot. Maybe you’re in need of sitting in an air conditioned area for a while.

You can always go back to your hotel…but that can take a lot of time out of your day.

Instead, why not go on a ride that will give you some time to relax?

Here are some places to go and relax. I’m not going to mention the restaurants, because that’s an obvious place to sit and cool down while you’re having some food.

Places to relax and recharge in the Magic Kingdom:

  • Hall of Presidents – It’s a little over 22 minutes long, and is in a nice air conditioned, dark auditorium. It’s a great place to recharge.
  • Carousel of Progress – This is one of my favorites. It’s over 20 minutes long, and is also in a cool dark air conditioned room. Bonus: There is a catchy song played after each scene!
  • Walt Disney Railroad – This takes about 20 minutes to go round trip, and there are 2 stops along the way. The plus of this ride? You can stay on as long as you want…you don’t have to get off at a certain point. The minus? You’re still outside, so no air conditioning. Of course, since you’re moving and have something overhead, it’s not quite as hot.
